The filter prevents the thru-beam sensors from mutual interference when they are installed in parallel. The BL-140-POLF is composed of 2 pairs of polarity (vertical and horizontal) One pair of thru-beam Sensorss are required to have the same polarity at both the emitter and the receiver. Each filter is clearly marked with polarization direction arrows
